What Our Parents Say

"I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that works at the nursery. I and my son are both extremely happy with all that Palace Day Nursery has to offer and the incredible way of teaching. The professionalism is out of this world, the children come first and everyone is extremely friendly.

Lunches are amazing and I can’t stress enough how happy my son is at school. Thanks once again."

Kerry M

2020

"Both my children started nursery in September and the staff are amazing, my youngest was 10 months, and she was excited to go in and see everyone, we didn’t get any tears. My oldest was 2 and he would be waiting at the door in his PJ’s hold his coat and bag saying “nursery now”. His communication has come on leaps and bounds. I could not recommend this nursery enough. Everyone is so friendly and easy to get on with, and are always there if you need to talk."

Having worked in Early Years for over 20 years, I have gained a huge amount of experience through owning two nurseries in Scotland, working in the Foundation Stage in Schools and managing nurseries abroad and in Milton Keynes before joining Palace Day Nursery in June 2016.
I am currently qualified to Level 6 in Childcare and have attained my Early Years Teacher Status.

I am passionate about early years and believe the relationship between parents, child and the setting is key to building strong partnerships with families. As an Early Years Educator, I believe that parents are children’s first and most consistent educators.

I am lucky to have a team that have the same passion and are always working to provide best outcomes for each individual child. I look forward to welcoming you all to the Palace family.

I joined the Palace Day Nursery almost 5 years ago. I gained a lot of experience in the preschool room over the years as a practitioner. I further developed myself through various training courses and I am proud to be the Deputy Manager as well as leading the Sapphire room age 2 -3 years.

Throughout my training I have a passion and a big heart for supporting and caring for children and their families with additional needs. It’s wonderful to see how children grow and blossom in to their characters.

I am also a mother myself to two wonderful boys who are also very supportive with the nursery and have been involved in special events at the nursery.
