Skip to content Within the nursery we have 3 rooms along with an outdoor area with different resources to support children’s interests.
Within this room we have a ratio of one member of staff to three babies. Children are settled in the room according to their individual needs and this is discussed with parents during registration and settling in sessions. Each child’s individual routine is followed in partnership with parents and a key person in allocated.
Children in this room start at the age of two and the ratio is one member of staff to four toddlers. Children at this age are very curious and eager to explore. The staff follow children’s interests and provide activities to extend their learning in the moment.
Children in this room start from the age of three years and the ratio is one member of staff to eight children. We continue to work with children on their interests by extending their learning. Within this room we focus on preparing children for school working on their prime areas.
